A new anthology of short stories and poetry that provides a personal and inspirational glimpse into the lives of 120 Gen Z young Americans living through the early months of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
Tween, teen, and young adult writers describe thoughts and feelings as they experience a turbulent, unprecedented crisis of isolation and uncertainty. The personal accounts are emotional, insightful, and motivational chronicling fears, losses, courage, and hope.
The editor, Nancy S. Nelson, M.S. ATR used social media to obtain submissions from 37 U.S. states. A network of educators, parents, and grandparents helped to obtain entries.
Readers, aged 10 to 110, can feel inspired while identifying with the words written by these youngsters. For parents, educators, and mental health professionals, the book is also a guide to encourage writing as a cathartic experience.
