I'm Hajni Blasko, also known as the �Book Publicity Genie� (www.book-publicity-genie.com), the creator of Substance Books Inc., Eco-Books, Fantasy Book Publicity, Authors' Web Design and Top Site Makeover and the damsel responsible for designing, programming and pampering these sites. I work as an Online Book Publicist and Search Engine Marketing Specialist offering my services to Authors and Publishers.
All my training and experience are focused around providing help and assistance to authors in order to increase their online exposure. I am a great believer in networking through Web environments and Social Media Marketing catering to their targeted audience.

As an Online Publicist I don't get out much, nevertheless;
I conducted workshops at BookExpo America, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 on Search Engine Optimization and Online Book Publicity.
I conducted a lecture and question period at the Association of English Language Authors of Quebec on Online Book Publicity.

My vision of the future includes a happy and healthy family, a small vineyard in Europe, a cleaner planet, crazily entertaining friends and satisfied clients.
My everyday heroes are: Shirley Cheng / Andrew Chak / Jacob Nielsen / Jordy Savall and the dog who adapted 6 kittens.

I live in Montr�al, Quebec with my 18-year-old son, who is the light of my life. I am passionate about my community, literature, early music, Search Engines and Social Media Marketing.

Claudia Del Balso � Editor & Book Publicity Marketing Assistant

I am a part-time English teacher and writer. I am happy to have joined the Substance Books team as a Book Publicity Marketing Assistant. I am currently working on a collection of short stories to be published as an anthology. I am also writing my first novel. I have published five short stories; one of them received the Award of Excellence in the Anthology Summer Tapestry, 2009 and my other one was published in The Golden Road, 2010. The other three appear in the literary magazine Maple Tree Literary Supplement. I recently interviewed McGill Emeritus professor David Lank who was awarded the Order of Canada in 1996. I have interviewed two Canadian authors: Steven Manners and Michael Mirolla. In June, I�ll interview Canadian poet Len Gasparini. In the fall, I�ll be joining the editing team of a European e-zine. Greetings all,
As a reading aficionado, I am excited to be a part of the online book publicity industry. My work consists of corresponding with our clients with respect to projects and promotional ventures, as well as editorial work and writing. I graduated from McGill University in the spring of 2006 with a double major in English Literature and Psychology, and in 2008 completed a Master's degree in English Literature at the University of Montreal. Having worked as an editorial assistant to a self-published author, I am intimately acquainted with the trials and tribulations of the publishing industry. In addition to my experience with Substance Books, I currently work as a marketing specialist in a consulting firm.

I have lived my whole life in Montreal and love the city more with every passing year. Amongst my interests are literature (naturally), travel, and linguistics. I have a penchant for engaging in roundabout philosophical conversations, and a rather nerdy passion for grammar. Activities include poker�Texas Hold 'em�and chess. Amongst my favorite authors are Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, Jane Austen, Virginia Woolf and Richard Russo.
